: "So that's another thing we can look up: Rubidan. We oughta get moving as soon as everyone's caught their breath."

: That could help, yes.

The party went to the first library in Auroch built after the war, where not only they could find information, but also had time to rest. They found about the Water Fountains, magical sources of pure water, one of the staples of the technology of Kizamo, as they made sure that every mage city had one, and now there was one built in Auroch recently too. In a book relating the history of these Fountains they found out that the first of these was invented and built in Rubidan, one of Kizamo's hidden cities, and that while a new improved Fountain had been built by now, the original had been kept intact for historical purposes.

Strangely, there was no mention of anyone called Salaam or Zukovich in any of the books in the library.

: "Well, this looks like a good place to start. Find Rubidan, find the lab mentioned in the papers, and just maybe we find something about Ace or these other names."

"Why am I not surprised we aren't finding those names in the books? Guess I was right about the author and his friends keeping some secrets of their own, after all..."
Ismo lowered carefully placed the book down and nodded to Jasmine.
"Yes, it seems our best shot is visiting Rubidan and finding the 'original' fountain. "

: "Just have to figure out how to get there...an airship would probably be convenient, but passage can be expensive. Not to mention there's usually plenty of crime near the yards, which could get us into trouble..."

: "Still, the only other options I can think of are going on foot or finding some really good teleportation staffs. An airship would probably be the easiest way, so if any of you are friends with a captain or have several hundred gold pieces in their pocket, now would be an excellent time to speak up."

"I don't like the sound of that idea either. I would rather chance the shipyards."

The group found a map that pointed out Rubidan's location in the continent, but no maps of its streets.

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)

: What's wrong with going on foot? It seems to be the safest way, even if slow.

"If going on foot is what we have to do, then it's what we'll do."

William shrugged.

"Hmm."
"Um! I... think I might be able to get us a lift on an airship? It depends a little on which airship companies are in town. But it would certainly save a lot of time, and it would be harder for anyone to follow us."

"Is that so? You are quite the resourceful one, Miss Glasses."

: "Worth a shot. I work at the shipyard, so I should be able to get us all in. Provided no one starts any fights there, anyway."

"You said there are crimes near the shipyard, correct? Then we need to be very careful when approaching, after all I am not sure how much time it will take for a certain gang leader to 'spread the news'."
