Uther lets his axe rest at his side and, feigning a pause to adjust his pauldron, casts an appraising eye at the people around him. Everyone seemed capable at the very least, and there were easily worse groups to be caught up with, quite the list of which Uther could name from personal experience alone. But the circumstances around this one were certainly a little strange, he had to say (and the guy with grey skin really weirded him out. Was he sick or something...?).

His fellow attempted-murder-victim running into two old friends might have just been a coincidence, but why did she lie about her name as readily (and skillfully) as a child caught in the middle of stealing the whole cookie jar? Uther had met at least three different people in his life with daughters named Senija, and to hell with him if any of them were Dargan. She could have come up with a better excuse if it was really such a big deal - not that he even cared in the end, really. It was just a name, and it wasn't his business.

However, the most notable person out of all of them had to be the young woman with heavy armor and a lance. Something about her looked so familiar to Uther... Her hair! That red hair. Where had he seen that color before?

”Hey, you over there," he begins politely, ”with th' blue headband. Have we met somewhere b'fore?"

Question asked, he resumes moving and marches his way towards the warehouse of goons to kill.

"No, I don't believe. . ." Vigdis stopped as she turned to look at the man. He did look familiar, now that she got a good look at him. Very familiar indeed. It was a long time ago, at this point, but she recognized him. Of course, he'd had a fair fewer lines on his face, and she remembered him being taller. "Uther. This is . . . unexpected."

As he gets closer, and she speaks his name, recognition dawns on Uther's face. He remembers a child, stern and fierce as the woman in front of him.

”Ahahaha! I'll be damned, it's you! Vigdis, you an' I are gonna have a lot t' talk about when we take care a' these thugs. I got twen'y years 'a stories I wanna share with ya!"

...She reminds me of her father.

Ismo tried to focus his attention on the crossbowman behind the axe wielding foe, as there was clearly something off about him.
"...Hmmhph."
Finally he pointed at the archer and shook his head.
"That is no gang member, the archer over there is an assassin. Now what he is doing among these thugs is what I desire to know."

"Indeed. It's good to see a familiar face." Vigdis remained guarded for the moment, if not quite as unfriendly-sounding as she usually did.

Having helped Uther move ahead, Senija found herself far away from everyone else -- and so she really had to haul ass to make it back up to everyone else. She was slightly out of breath when she made it up to one of the other group that had stumbled into this.
