Another round of Bay12 Dominions games and its time for early ages again. I'm revising the rules for both fairness and take into account the holidays.

I might be willing to do shenanigan NG. Admittedly, my idea of "fun" NG shenanigans tends to have as much or more to do with how nations are assigned than generation constraints. If the majority wasn't interested, though, that'd be NBD.

I genned 40 nations with those paramaters, foul spawn cannot have recruit anywhere sacreds, it is always a secondary race that is the recruit anywhere sacred. Although there is a nation with chorus spells and another nation with flying ichtyid sacreds. So I don't know if I should revise the rules...

There's no reason they shouldn't be able to have recruit-anywhere sacreds. It's more likely that the restriction filters don't play nicely with montag poses. If you're really keen on doing the above setup, I can almost certainly work out a one-or-two-line data file alteration that will let you get rec-anywhere sacreds on FS without using any nation restrictions.

I'll wait to see if others are interested in doing that style of game. Other idea I had is all players picks a nation to be added to a pool then random diceroll picks the nation for each player from that pool.

Understandable, with the poor ruleset that I had initially and the lack of interest, I should probably change it.

...I'm moving at a snail's pace, but I might get merrow and further-expanded imperial nations done by the 10th. There's a bunch of dumb little bugfixes I'd like to see rolled out too.

(If I'm really ambitious, I might take a stab at UW national PD for nations that can build UW.)

No new nation gen version was released so I used 7.0 candidate 8 to generate the nations. Seed -9201551037962677552. Setting code 1. Nation restriction: Primary race: Foulspawn.

PREVIOUS LIST OF SEEDS WAS FOR THE WRONG SETTING. REVISED LIST BELOW.

If you want to be a bit kinder, the nation seeds:

(This spares the players the misery of generating 1300+ nations to get the final 20. I assume 20, because I only see 4 players listed, which means I was too ambiguous when I threw my name into the hat, but that's okay.)

Ok, that is my mistake for getting confused with your first statement, because I wasn't sure what NBD is. I wrote down the gen seed so I could expand the list if someone decided to join at the last second and so other players can confirm the nations that I post is the same that gets generated.

NBD = no big deal. For example: "It's NBD that you didn't include me among the players because TBH I really shouldn't start up a game in the next two months anyway".  :P

And yes, I understand transparency, but it's also gonna take a decent chunk of time to generate that mess, so the option to take it on faith would probably be welcome.

FWIW, it doesn't look like any of the nations in the first 20 on that mod seed would be affected by any of the bugfixes I haven't gotten around to pushing out yet, so that's also NBD...
