 Alys was hyperventilating with panic a little. She had backed up so that she wouldn't be attacked and she could stay close to her temporary bodyguard Milos, but the Tiger Laguz had followed her, and... was that blood? She looked at her companions and realized that Milos and Grae didn't look so hot either... But Grae was too deep in, and healing herself was kinda cheap, so...

Vanessa continued her performance, her smile shining brightly as she turned away from her unconscious target towards the Laguz that had now approached her. She closed her eyes and held her hand to the sky as she focused her power. Light radiated from her hand and she pointed to an area just above her target. It shot from her hand and hovered in mid air, then with a click of her fingers it transformed into a hippo. It then quickly began to fall trying to crush the poor cat beneath it.

When the cat began to close in on Milos, his entire body began to stiffen up, and sweat began to pour from every bit of his skin. He wanted to scream, but not only did he feel like his vocal cords were paralyzed, but he knew he had to stay strong... but the attack hurt him. It hurt him and he wanted the pain to stop. Before he knew it, he had dealt a rather nasty blow to the Laguz; a nastier blow than was done on him, it seemed. This relaxed Milos... but just a bit. Alys' healing also helped him relax... just a little.

"Th...thanks."

Though his morale was low, he still tried to show some optimism, and danced for his crew... but he didn't show off too much.
