A Thousand Years, and a Thousand More pass. The Seal Weakens, and eventually, the Last Sacred Stone is destroyed by the Malevolent Energies of Fomortiis' Soul. His power free, monsters once again start to roam the lands, and though the humans fight bravely, the continent is overrun.

Fast Forward another 1200 years, and the monsters have formed their own groups and societies. Basic and tribal, true, but they have started to gain human intelligence. And with that Intelligence, there is a chance to make something of yourself. To be more than just another in a horde.

So you all, for your own reasons, have sought out others to form a group. But on the horizon, dark tidings turn for this new era.

Dark Seals are almost universally produced by Mother Gorgon of great standing. They allow any Monster to reach the next stage.
 While not the only way, most are very specific. Dark Seals, so long as that monster is powerful enough, let them skip the time normally necessary to evolve naturally. Though, if the monster isn't ready, the Seal consumes the user itself.

This may be due to them being incompatible with it. Not really worth the chance, as waiting for it is likely to leave you stronger anyway.

And my mugging skills mean enemies with faces are not going to be common at all without help.
I can't help with the more obtuse species, but Tarvos and other creatures with human-like faces should still be doable easily, no? Speaking of the Tarvos, actually...

Stats and growths all check out.

And Society/Lore is what you make of it. Tarvos are mostly hunters, killing animals for sport, and at times, other monsters.

Humans of ages past are nothing more than myths now. And monsters have steadily gained intelligence over the past 300-500 years. So that's 700 years of decay from nature, for the most part. More now.


Really need to try to do an updated map with all the nature/plain/mountains..

Ah, and Fomortiis, isn't.. No body means only his energy remained, which is what led to the monsters rising and killing everything. Monsters usually don't eat in the normal sense, undead and spirits gain energy from the land.

Though I guess most 'living' monsters could eat a diet of meat from animals. Though that would be a 'learned' trait, to gain another energy source.

Having every class skill is how FEFs normally operate, though. The only reason normal class skills aren’t stronger is also because the norm is not to give them to enemies except under special circumstances, so they’re more balanced for fighting against a ton of enemies who don’t have any of these cool special abilities too. I assume we’re going to fight enemies with the same sort of skillsets we have in this campaign and that means we can pretty much take whatever we can get.

Sheet is fine, everything checks out statwise.

PF/PS.

hmm.  Furvus Par is a bit much, but it does fit. And you PF makes up for it.

So, you don't lose 15 hit or deal 1 less damage, though that does not effect the enemy's +15 hit and +1 Dam against you.

Personals are fine then.

I should note that those using fire against you will still damage you, though once you promote, you'll have immunity to Anima. And Discipline can only up a skill you have already, so it's thunder for the first class.


I kinda question if I should make it equipped weapon sub-category only for Arcana Corporis. Eh, we'll see.

I have a Gorgon mugshot in the works--but in the meantime, I guess I don't have much of a reason not to post the sheet so long as I can edit the mugshot in later. Mugshot is more or less ready I believe, just gotta get the backstory typed up she's all ready cap'n

Yeah, it’s supposed to be only the WTD penalty to themself. So it would go like

Surthendys faces a Dread user:
-Surthendys does not have -15 Hit or -1 DAM
-Enemy does have +15 Hit, +1 DAM, and effective damage

Surthendys faces a Druidic/Ancient user:
-Surthendys has -15 Hit and -1 DAM
-Enemy has +15 Hit, +1 DAM, and effective damage

Right, I think I missed something...

Gorgon Eye is 3-5. Every ten levels, or on Promotion, range is 3-8.

So Level 1-9 is 3-5. Level 10-19 is 3-6. Level 20 is 3-7.

Mother Gorgons have 3-8, regardless on what level they promoted.. Level 10 on Promo is 3-9. Level 20 is full range at 3-10. C

Cannot use any other actions when using Gorgon Eye. So trading isn't allowed on the same turn you use it. You can move though.


Mostly cause giving you guys a 10 range coin flip isn't the best idea early on. Gotta Level to get it.

Granted, an enemy also having that sort of range would prove disastrous.


Oh, and Golems can counter it afterward if you-re in 5-7 range, so watch out for that. Stone Golems have 5-10 range as well, so... yeah, balance.

Your PF clashes with that skill. 

That goes double for rokubiraijuu. All Move is a hell of a conditional.

GM, your PSes are fine, just that -10 is actually -5 with Daunt active, and so doesn't quite make up for them.
