We went out to Kadaya to shoot some footage for our paranormal TV show. When we started filming though, we slowly noticed things were going off script - and when we went to investigate, there was something... deeper. Unexplainable occurrences, strange-looking creatures... when we went to go look for where they came from, all of them tied back to a building in the distance.
Whoever was in that building clearly thought they were alone, because moments after we even got within sight of it, we were knocked out, kidnapped, and brought to the facility to be used as test dummies for... whatever horrid thing they're working on in here.
It's been... at least a couple of days. Maybe more. Time doesn't exactly present itself easily in this place. We're trapped in a holding cell, and we've been here, except to be dragged out when we're "needed". It all seems innocent, but disgustingly so - they're pretending this whole thing is some kind of public service when it's a nightmare.
There's not much we really know. The building could belong to anyone, they could be doing anything, and of course, they never bother to tell us more than "everything is going as we expected". One thing's for sure though - we've got to get the hell out of here.
You and the other players are experiments, trapped in this secret site on the island of Kadaya. You're stuck in here, and you need to find a way out, while dodging, disabling, or destroying whatever or whoever tries to stop you.
Each of you has an ability, decided on by the word in your character sheet. What these abilities do, you're not entirely sure, so you'll need to be careful and test things often. You can also try looking around different rooms for items the scientists here are using, which may help you try to get out.
I'll be using a d20. 1 is the absolute worst, 19 is the absolute best, and 20 is an overshoot. Rolling a 20 with certain items or abilities may be disastrous, so make sure you know the risks!
As of this time of writing, the max is 5 players at one time. New players after this limit will be put on a waitlist until one player is dead or otherwise not playing, and a slot appears.
