Author Topic: CTD, save files provided - Potentially something to do with Werebeasts  (Read 1351 times)

So, for reasons of science, I have somehow managed to encounter this problem on 4 different worlds across 3 different computers, and have 2 save files. I know. Amazing.


The crash always occurs when or shortly after the Caravan arrives, without fail or warning. I never make it to the 2 Migrant wave. Checking the error logs, I get about a billion lines complaining about Werebeasts, on both files, but other forum posts have given conflicting answers on whether or not they are actually the problem, but I am getting pretty tired of generating new worlds at this point, especially sense I have been trying to get this working for the better part of a week now, and have never actually managed to past the second year without it crashing, at least on modern masterwork.

On the 2nd world listed, the larger "Fortress of Worlds" save, I completely reinstalled masterwork, and disabled Werebeasts in the launcher, but apparently it didn't take, and it takes hours to regenerate a world on my computer and get to the middle of autumn to test it out. If at all possible, I would like to recover these save files, but I started playing again like a week ago, and have no Idea what I'm doing.

I have now generated a 5th world. I made certain that I had werebeasts disabled in the world gen, and now I am crashing before I even get to summer. I'll try and upload it tonight, but unless I am obviously doing something wrong here, I dont know where to go from here. As it stands the game is unplayable.
