Yeah, it's the age when that creeping feeling that you've peaked and it's all downhill from here finally strikes.

Look at your job. Look at your spouse. Look at your home. Look at your body. None of these will likely improve with age.

There's a reason it's called a 'mid-life crisis' after all.

45 years here, and the nastiest thing turning 40 is the constant need for removing and putting on glasses when looking long/short distances.  >:(
Beside that my life feels much like at university with board and computer games. Now I'm just getting paid for using my knowledge (in programming) instead of gaining it.

I'm already there at 28. Except I'm not using, gaining, or indeed possessing any knowledge.

Also no board games. Honestly not much computer gaming either.


So, just... Just donning and doffing the glasses, pretty much.

Oh geez, I guess I'm technically having a mid-life crisis at 38.  Quitting my job I've had for 14 years, trying to start a business.  Constant gnawing existential dread.    :o
