Additionally, try to judge if the danger from the boiling tar is purely physical or if there is a magical component, and how far the shore appears to be.

As he touched the body, it started twisting and moving! The corpse opened its eyelids - its eyes were glowing purple. With a low booming voice it said: 'A noble and brave knight, on the service of justice aren't you? What does your codex say about disturbing the dead, huh? I curse thee! For the remainder of your life all the food you will touch will turn into maggots, and all the water into urine!' - the corpse muttered and fell dead.
