So you defeated the Xeno scum and took their stuff. Now a question of “ how” your going into space, with new toys.

A: Converted fleet of the invaders in a small fleet to explore
B: The Aliens had a massive  “ Ark Ship”And we jacked that sucker as a mother ship.
C: Dimensional gates via Star Gate

( Next will be toys starting with)

So far following earned title pubs

Xenophobe: Suffer not the alien, kill the so uva bitch on a moments notice.

Savants: Humans are crafty, so crafty they can figure out tech more advanced than their own in little time.

Natural Born Warriors: Due to psyche and society and inner tribal hunter roots. Humanity is not something to laugh at if pushed into a corner. They are like the universes Sweden. ( In so capable of violence they are a war crime to be used.)

I'd like to note that we picked mostly science stuff and did the alien invasion for XCOM flavor. One would think we'd have more science titles than military ones. :p

Anyway, how about a mix between A and B? We've developed hybrid ships using their technology, but they also had a few particularly large ships, one of which we managed to capture. There was also their mothership, but that got kinda completely annihilated.
(Yes, I'm taking more stuff from XCOM - the firestorm hybrid fighters (and inevitable result of upscaling), Operation: Gangplank (stole a battleship), and the temple ship (destroyed in the final mission).)

Notes: Lasers, Rail Guns and such are fine. Plasma weaponry, power suit motors and hybrid space fuel are rationedvthanks to stock piles. Because have not farmed super material yet.

Fleet/Ark mix? Well. Plan to start.

Edit: Also you guys got Savant tag. Which is research. It means you can figure out really cool. Foreign tech in no time at all.

——

The fleet was impressive, two wings of fire storms, a battle ship collected from the war, along with a new command ship made from wreck of the mother ship. As humanity goes forth from the Earth, made quick notes of the Moon, maybe do something with it.

In the effort of four thrusts with hybrid energy thrusters. The armanda was at Mars. Funny enough, sensors light up as there were apparent mining operations being done. The time to act is now!

Invading obviously but how?

A: Iron Rain bitch! Drop pods of power armor to fall down for quick shell shocking combat.
B: Surgical bombings and shuttle down elites for clean up.
C: Sneak in teams and let them deal with aliens, no need to damage their gear. Or resources.
D: Just Bomb the big eyed bastards and make notes to do what they were doing.

C, with B mixed in for locations identified as command centers or the like, or which are too heavily fortified to just send in a squad.

Roll: 5/8

The surprised bombing went off, one on which made a massive explosion, apparently a power generator with producing facility was destroyed.

The teams that went in cleaned house as the aliens were in shell shock. No survivors.

After math: HS two mines for Eleriim. Also learned that a cheap substitute in the form of condensed Martian soil works out too. Can have a new enterprise with production and energy.

The biggest irony so far is one never knew how many of the invading aliens were here. And the fact is what are their numbers are? Or if other types out there.  Aside Mars was the Asteroid belt and inner sphere worlds as well.
