The Legend of Setoc Colorflicker
This is a story about a daring human named, “Setoc Colorflicker”, he was the first of the humans to exist and roam the lands.
In the year 1, Setoc became a member of “The Umber Order” where he became a ranger in “Weatheroxen” and started worshiping “Rodi Bunchfuture”, which is described in ancient texts as an object of worship.
In the beginning of year 2 due to reasons unknown Setoc stopped being a ranger in “Weatheroxen” and fled to “Waypeeked” to settle.
In the early winter of 2, “The Confederacy of Berries” held a competition involving “The Prim Book” in “Weatheroxen” as part of “The Warm Festival”. There were five other competitors, but alas he lost the competition to none other than “Deng Walkedcharcoal”.
Looking for glory or redemption he asked around the town about the surrounding area and heard there was a hydra nearby who was founded by some elf. So he went to search the nearby caverns in hope to find and kill the Hydra to live on as a legend.
As he was exploring the seemingly abandoned cave, he heard the Hydras roar right behind him! He was caught off guard by the attack and the Hydra, named “Cera Suckwastes” stretched out her mighty claw and with a single blow knocked out the brave adventurers’ lower front tooth. Before Setoc could react the Hydra struck him with her other claw tearing off Setoc’s second finger of the right hand. The Hydra was so fast that he was struck down before having the chance to scream in pain and the human Setoc Colorfinger was no more. As the brave Setoc was dying he thought to himself that he would never be remembered and that his bones would be discovered by a real hero who would slay the hydra while laughing it in the face, then he drifted off into sweet oblivion knowing he was taken down by a hydra who did nothing more than knock out a tooth and sever a finger. Meanwhile Cera was stomping with glee for getting her first kill and a sharp rock fell on her back stabbing straight through her lungs, causing her to suffocate to death. Many years later the remains were found by an unknown person who assumed the fight was a draw, and Setoc, unknowingly, became a legend after all. The First Being to Kill a Hydra
