Good to have you on board. Here if it randomised to you, you would mimic yourself mimicking yourself, which would do nothing.

A point of possible clarification... a lot of the powers work off an idea of a player's target. This is ambiguous, as you can act against someone without that person being your target. Take for instance:

Once per night, you may give a piece of fruit to your target's target.

If I targeted Tiruin with that and Tiruin targeted Toonyman, then I would give a piece of fruit to Toonyman, but (crucially) Tiruin would still have been my target. So if I was investigated with learn your target's target, should that person get back Tiruin, my given target, or Toonyman who I actually acted upon? In the last game the ruling was the former: "target" always refers to the person's specified target, not whomever they incidentally affected, except when they had been redirected.

What I may look to do is resolve the ambiguity by improving the wording of the generated powers.

It would be random each night. Also before we start I should reword "in play" to be clearer as to whether it includes dead players as well.

Dead players can only be targeted by abilities which explicitly include dead players, so wouldn't normally be hit by randomised abilities.

It is possible to have powers that brainwash the dead into acting or otherwise mimic their abilities.
