World Generation -> tail -f ?
« on: May 07, 2019, 11:41:27 am »

Is there a way to see what is going on exactly during world generation? Like a way to see the legends mode as it is being generated?

Ideally, use tail -f on a file that tells everything going on?

No. You'll have to bring up the Legends Mode info after the fact. Pouring it out as text would make it very slow, and probably very disjointed and confusing as well.
It ought to be possible to make a DFHack script that had a callback every "tick" and the callback scouring through the history (continuing from the last entry processed) to produce a log of entries in chronological order.
