"Okay, firstly, what are you doing here, secondly.....n-no, I'm not gonna lie to a priest!"

"My services were not required over there."
"Besides, it doesn't have to be a lie, we know two generals, we could always request a small favor. An offhanded threat is still a threat!"

"Look, clearly, we know what's going in here, there's no reason to break in, so I'm not going to help you break in here. Besides, there's probably like a thousand different alarm spells on the back door if we try to get inside without being let in. It's a temple, not some guy's house."

"Which is precisely why we need a legitimate threat! Even if we bash down the door, could they blame us if it's to protect them from the machinations of a Demon General?"

"You realise if we tell them there's a Demon General, every adventurer in the city will come down on here like moths to a flame? That's.....kind of a big deal, and it's not like we have a Demon General to show for it. Either that or they don't believe us, kick us out and get us arrested. There's no scenario where us sneaking in there gets us anything but trouble."

"Ah, but we don't need to be the one to make the declaration, we can have one of our contacts do it instead."
