Jade's entire face shattered into pieces when she caught of glimpse of Mammon taking off his helmet. "D-dullahan...?" The assassin collapsed to the floor squeezing her forehead with both hands. She began to frantically mumble to herself, "N-no, that can't be right. I saw the werewolf destroy my village! It... it had to be leader of the Werewolves Mammon! M-maybe there can be werewolf dullahans? Y-yea that could be it!"


Jumping back up to her feet, she shakily points at Mammon, "T-That's it right!? You're a werewolf dullahan! R-right!?"

"I....do not think that's a thing."

[Aurorix]

"B-but... I put all my skills into defeating the leader of the werewolves who destroyed my village! It had to be the Demon General, Mammon!" Jade grabs her hood and drags it down. "B-but he's not a werewolf... How can the general of the werewolves not be one himself!?"

"....it was YOUR village Boreas destroyed?"
Mammon suddenly sounds angered.
"....that fiend. You should not worry about him. I....punished him for his misdeeds. Innocents were not meant to be targeted, and I made that clear. He paid the price. I am sorry you cannot revenge yourself upon him now."

[Aurorix]

"I-I see..." The assassin tone was a mixture of emptiness and defeat. All that motivated her was misinformed, a lie and dead. What purpose does she even have now? Its not like she has an outlet for closure either... Though she still promised to follow this job until the end, might as well keep up her end of the bargain. "Lets... just move on to the next area then. No point staying here any longer..."

"..."

Yliss moves next to Jade and awkwardly pats her shoulder.

"If it helps... I kinda know what it's like to suddenly no longer feeling like having a purpose anymore. Feel free to talk to me at any time, that is, if you care about my experiences with that."

Shoes glanced between Yliss and Jade. It looked like she was about to speak for a moment, before going back to scowling at nobody in particular again.

Jade perks her head up and to the side towards Yilss. She opens her mouth about to say something, hesitating...


Finally nodding her head towards her, she manages to get out "Yea... I'd uh... I'd like that."

"Cool. Call me whenever. Now, as you've said, time to hit the next region and get the next emblem."

Yliss looks over her shoulder, towards Beelzebub.

"You with us in a more travel-ready form, big boy?"

"Yeah, it'd be a shame to leave you behind!"

"am can shrink again, yis. will need time to shrink without losing memories and becoming dummer blobbo. go explore city for a while, yis"

Keith turned to Mammon.

"You probably ought to stay here. Just trying to keep you out of trouble, yeah? But you can come with us to the next town when we leave if you want."
