Nooo, Bast, we 'ardly knew ye! ...Ah well. New plan.

-----------------------------
Name: Hairfolk
Color: Red
Aspect: !!SCIENCE!!
Worships: Dr. Bob
-----------------------------

"All problems are merely opportunities insufficiently weaponized." - Varchik XXI, village elder

The hairfolk are a strange people, resembling nothing so much as squat piles of shaggy hair with feet, noses, and ears. They make their dwelling anywhere they can, will eat absolutely anything that is remotely edible, and are unparalleled in the art of military engineering and force multiplication; it is said three hairfolk soldiers, utilizing nothing but what the land around them has to offer, can design and build a siege weapon fit to level a village in two days flat.

Above all other gods the hairfolk revere "Doctor Bob", who they consider a holy paragon of all things weaponizable. Many a hairfolk grunt has offered a prayer to "the good Doctor" before throwing the trigger on its latest creation.

The hairfolk will place their first village on whatever landmass Doctor Bob sees fit to create.

No Idea if there's any god spots left but just in case there's one left I'm gonna post one.

Didn't know for sure if I got the spot or not that's why I hadn't posted.

Dr. Bob creates a Grassy plain on A-5.

Grassy plains... not much wood to work with, but it'll do. Maybe we can make stuff out of animal bones or something.

When possible, the Hairfolk settle on A-5.

Still doing the turn, and everyone has their tile. Fire ones are the only ones without a current choice, but it's still a forest.

Turn 1, The Gods Appear

From other dimensions, the gods come. It is a small world for now, and difficult to work, but filled with promise.

MonkeyLord, the God of Growth appears, creating a Grasslands at C-3.

Gilbert, the Cat God, appears with a plan to turn the world to Ice. They create an Ice Sheet at A-1.

Gen'iak the wise, Aspect of mortals' Stupidity, creates a forest at C-5.

Reelia, a God of Knowledge, likewise forms another Forest at D-3.

And Dr. Bob, the God of Science, creates a Grassy Plains at A-5.

Already, it seems mortals form in the newly created areas.

GM Words: I will occasionally say stuff down here. So a few hints. First, make sure to check your Spoiler, and feel free to check the others too.
Second, Search for 'Aspects of Time' Gridhood through the Forum Search on Bay12.. This is mostly directed at The Kitties, Ice Sheets and other such Biomes do not have much to eat.
Third: Order your actions properly, in a single post preferably, Civs. And make sure to put you colored Civ Name above those actions, makes it easier on me.
Fourth, Due to the smaller world, God Actions cost more. Civs can live without Gods, but not for long. Likewise, in order to help Civs, Gods need FP, which comes from Civs praying to that God.
Fifth: I expect Conflict from those two tiles before long, since they will end up getting in each others way most likely. A-1 is actually the safest, though they are in danger of food shortage..

edit: sorry for the mix-up.

Damnit people, this is why I said to keep the truce. Because now everyone's ganging up on the cats.
Also, don't forget to contact your local Eldritch Being(s), so that they can help with our mission to destroy the universe.

----------------------------------------
In those first of days, Varchik the Elder held dominion over his people. Varchik danced and burned sweet herbs of the plains, giving supplication unto the Good Doctor-- for through supplication, the Doctor would become strong.

1 worker prays to Dr. Bob.
----------------------------------------
More cunning than the rest, and fearing attack from the unforgiving world, Tarchik the Tinkerer sought to fashion mighty weaponry from what little was available to her. Grass and stone and scarce branch of tree Tarchik gathered, and set quickly to work.

1 worker researches !!SCIENCE!!
----------------------------------------
As Varchik danced and Tarchik tinkered, the Triplets Three, knowing that without food they were undone, but daring not to duel the mighty Wilderbeasts, set out into the wilderness in search of plants and insects with which to sustain the tribe. Surely the Good Doctor would provide.

3 workers forage for food in A-5.

Oops!

Error, all civs start with 5 workers...

And 10 food for that matter. Mixed them up..

That should be fixed, so..Look again I guess..

Also, kinda. At the moment, all you can forage are roots and plants and berries. Maybe the occasional bit of meat, given you have no weapons.

Gen'iak the wise watches over the world. Gen'iak currently feels ambivalent, just in general.
