I'm actually in the mood for something low-key and relaxing like this, but it looks like the server isn't up to date with the last patch. I'll revert for now.

I might try that. I'm not finding wandering around looking for a place to settle that fun.

I make no promises on the whole, though.

Dope. Feel free to customize things too. The houses are pretty stock atm. Also totally expand outside the gates if you want, more land and more castle is big good.

Out of curiosity, are there any mods planned? Something that replaces structures would be good! I know there was also some talk of NPCs which would be fun.

I suggested the Custom NPCs mod, but unfortunately its still on version 1.12.2

I'm open to installing anything you guys are interested in playing, so long as it doesn't require a new world (unless everyone wants it, in which case sure - I don't want anyone to lose their progress). However, it looks like most non-biome related mods are fair game.

If we do end up wanting something that would need a new world, best to wait and think of everything of that nature so it only needs to happen once.

I think we need some kind of mod to curb mob griefing. Creepers and endermen in particular keep messing with structures and terrain. There's a gamerule that does it, but that would also prevent villager breeding (...if I had one! Dinkleberg!)

The best I could figure out with command blocks is set the creeper explosion radius to 0, which unfortunately prevents them from damaging players. Endermen would be as easy as filling their empty hands with flowers (possibly wither roses,) though.

There's an amusing mod that causes creeper explosions to slowly revert after a while. Someone in the comments said it works in 1.13, so maybe it still works in 1.14. Not sure if it's compatible with the server, however.

I don't think there are mods for 1.14 yet... The last version with a good amount of mods is 1.12

Built an enchanting facility in First Hearth. The page the lectern is on determines how many bookcases are exposed, allowing you to control the max enchant level and choose from a different set of enchants.

Edit: Redid the entrance using terracotta and mossy stone.
