Sylvianne could hear it all... the rumble was rhytmic, and drawing closer.

It wasn't thunder. It was hooves! A whole lot of them! She didn't see the riders, but can hear them. They were still far.

Now however, Sylvianne had time to warn the others, before the cavalry will arrive in force.
