Click title for music. This is the song of adventure.

TRAVEL THE TRAIL!

No idea how this will turn out. Might be super boring, might be really fun to vote to rub salt in your mates' bear wounds while snorting laudanum. Who knows.

Basically gonna make a post every time something happens. Time to ford a river? Make a vote! Someone has a broken leg from being inside a tipped wagon? Vote! Someone's got cholera from swallowing too much river water? VOTE. Routine things such as hunting or gathering fruit shall happen without input, but will be reported on.

Here are our character creation options. We will be setting out in 1845 from Independence with a Conestoga wagon, with the goal of settling in Oregon City. All else is fluid.

Anyway, taking votes presently on character creation and party makeup and the like. Who wants to be in the wagon party? Feel free to let this get silly, or not. If some or all of us die horribly (I mean when, really) we can always restart with different/same parameters.

IT BEGINS!

Oh yeah, I think you're right. Sort of, it does require Bay12 input to run.

Eh, Maybe it'll get moved, we'll see.

Sadly, 65 is the max age. This is 1845 so you are basically the equivalent of an immortal Dracula in terms of aged wisdom.

Oh.

I’ll be Urist McDwarf, a teacher.

A skill useful in DF and Oregon Trail, I’m sure.

I vote for adventurer difficulty, so we can guide this wagon train to its doom.
