Nah, fighting these things is bad news, gotta scram and find easier prey in places not infested with giants.
Let's start with the exit with a green light. The annoying big things are running that way, so maybe it leads to a way out of here.

Never ever cease communication with your enemies, never ever cease interaction with them, never isolate yourself from them. Never ignore them, relish the time to deal with them, to exercise banter. The biggest mistake one can make is ignoring one's enemies. Go out of your way to pick a fight today.

Are there any ventilation ducts?
There is a large grate in the floor in a corner of the room. There's also two small tubes in either side of the ceiling with small protrusions through which comes air.

The floor grate looks sturdy. You're not sure you could smash it. But it and the tunnels beyond it are pretty wide, you could easily run through them. The tunnel leads towards the wall behind your display case, away from any entrance.

The ceiling tubes look flimsy. You could easily break one if you managed to reach it. But they are narrow. Crawling through them would be slow but not impossible. They seem to follow the layout of the rooms; you can see they continue in the room the bipeds are running towards.

Nah, fighting these things is bad news, gotta scram and find easier prey in places not infested with giants.
Let's start with the exit with a green light. The annoying big things are running that way, so maybe it leads to a way out of here.

You run after the fleeing bipeds, which causes them to emit more cries of alarm and run with renewed vigour. But even when running they aren't very fast. With some effort you manage to catch up to them.

You reach them just as they reach the next room. It is then that you notice a pink-skinned biped that differs from the others. One way it differs is that it is dressed in all purple, rather than wearing colorful outfits like the others. Another way it differs is that instead of running or hiding, it's standing behind a display case, looking straight towards your. The third way it differs is that it holds a tube-shaped thing, one end larger than the other.

It raises the tube-shaped thing and points the larger end at you. For a moment there's a buzzing. Then a ball of blue lightning forms inside it and flies towards you at incredible speed. But the creature makes the mistake of aiming towards where you are, rather than where you will be.

Instead of hitting you the ball instead hits one of the bipeds next to you on one of its legs. The ball breaks apart into sparks that spread to cover the creature's entire body before disappearing a moment later. The creature cries out and then falls to the floor, convulsing. The one that shot the ball emits a different sort of cry and starts fiddling with the spark-tube.

Run back, try to smash the grate, and climb in.

Attack the guy who attacked us, preferably by smashing it's weapon.  Then we can take a few bites before going to the grate.

Size check, how big are we compared to the creatures?

You are the size of an adult dog or wolf. Most everything you're going to meet is human sized unless stated otherwise.

You change direction and half-run half-leap towards the guard, flapping your wings to gain more speed. It tries to raise the spark-tube for a second shot but you're faster, jumping on its chest. The guard loses its balance and falls to the ground. The device is shoved out of its hands and is sent clattering away. You fall to the ground next to it and quickly roll back to your feet.

It tries to grab a baton from its belt but before it can do so you jump on it. Your claws dig into its chest. Instinct drives you to bite its throat and keep biting until it stops moving. Then you use your claws to rip its clothes and reach its soft bits. You start biting and ripping off chunks, swallowing them whole, anxiety and hunger urging you to eat quickly.

Run back, try to smash the grate, and climb in.
You don't eat until you're full, you eat just enough to make your stomach stop complaining. Then you immediately start running in the opposite direction, quickly returning to the room where you hatched. You set to work smashing the grate there, but it's not easy. That thing is too sturdy. After striking it several times you manage to bend it enough to allow your head to fit below it. With a lot of pushing you manage to lift the grate enough for you to fit through. Once you're through you fall to the tunnel below. The grate falls back into place with a loud clang.

The tunnel is pleasantly warm and somewhat humid. There are several tubes here, attached to walls and floor. The warmth is being emitted by one of those tubes.

As you are inspecting the tunnel, more of the guards arrive in the room above. You run away before they have a chance to shoot you. You keep running until you reach a junction. One path feels hotter. The other has a lot of mechanical noise coming from it.

Rry to scput out further down both, starting with the warmer one, then the mechanical sounding one. If it seems that the Guards are catchinf up, just run forwards.
