More units only help if we can actually deploy those units. It's a problem that hasn't been fixed yet. It kinda limits deployment options when we have are limited if we want to run multiple missions.
Tric.
We were unable to fill our craft to capacity this turn. And that's with relatively cheap aliens; if we design more expensive aliens next turn, we'll have an even harder time filling craft to capacity.
So, no, a lack of craft is not a problem right now.

Also, what Failbird said. You can't create a half-cost ship that incorporates a significant advancement with a revision.

If we're going to take a foray into psionic combat, I'd prefer an Ethereal token to put on it. Same with cybernetics for Mecha-Orphanim.

I really think if we were to improve our infantry is to get some basic alien alloy fabric body armor, something that would stop basic rifle rounds and shotgun pellets from penetrating, and because our new Viper/Utahraptors or whatever we make else for the next turn. As for psi-jolt, I think we should just wait for a design later on for a bigger psionic tool like a psi panic or maybe telekinesis and have the ability to grab the turrets and launch them into the air, making them useless.

Anyhow, I think Mercurial Waste Recycling is better because we would if successful get more UP or make the Ophanims/Chariots cheaper making it more easier to deploy our new “Advanced/ Tier 2 Alien” that much easier. Something like still being able to deploy 3 Ophanims, 4 Chariots (2 on a Raid Mission), and 3 “Tier 2” Aliens so that we could do three missions, just hoping we have enough budget for that.

Well, like I said, the recycling vats are a fairly safe choice. It won't go to waste. I still feel like psi-jolt has a higher potential upside, but I'm not going to argue against the vats.

Same. Not like the vats are bad per say.. Simple, more like.
