Alternatives to bags for sand

Has anyone figured out a way to make it so boxes, jugs, and barrels contain sand, and thus be used to produce glass?

The glassmaker's furnace only explicitly cites bags as the container, you could just decant the sand-bags into alternative containers then have a seperate production chain from there instead so the actual use of bags is minimal.

I forget how many stacks, but a barrel or pot of sand could hold a lot of them. Some people straight up have reactions to crush rocks into sand/rubble right away using a quern or a mill and get them that way.
