Welcome back, fellow eaters.
I'd like to necro this thread because I can't see another place where I could tell this.
You shroomish people are like friends to me by now :')

I'm proud to announce that I am now a parent ! ;D
My wife gave birth to a boy the other day. I have aquired a happy thought there, and now have a baby to care for.

Though, I have some issues with the baby.
See, I'm really looking forward to introducing him to the Fungal World.
Since the Wizard is no more, I don't know how to show him the Way of the Mushroom.
The Wizard was wise in His teachings, but I feel lost without His presence. I don't want this newborn to become a pesky fruit-eater !

What do you guys think ? How does one preach Mushrooms to a new born ?
Is it possible he is the reincarnation of the holy Wizard ? If so, I must introduce him to Mushrooms right away !

Help me ! ???

You should probably start him on a regiment of mushrooms early so he learns to appreciate them.

As for the Wizard I'm not sure we can replace him.


(I think the wizard got banned awhile back, or at least one of his alt accounts.)

Howewah, congratz on your kid! Sending him blessings from the celestial sphere, may this child rattle the stars and fix the world or something.

You could get some kittens and craft some beard worthy for your successor tho  :P.

Mushrooms for babies... hmm.



From what I'm seeing, there's no particular reason not to give mushrooms to a baby once it's ready for solid food... probably once they're 8-12 months old? Just be sure to cook the mushrooms first.

I'm pretty sure they sell baby food with glorious mushroom in it. Check the child accessories aisle of your local grocery.   

Or I'm sure you could make some yourself? Tinned mushrooms often come as a pile of goop, a lot like baby food.   


I miss the wizard. I think, after his myriad incarnations throughout the centuries, he either attained something akin to Nirvana or moved to another plane for some other reason. I fear we may not see him again in this world.

Does anybody know how to become an elephant man in adventure mode? I literally did all advanced world settings possible to increase chances.
