Ideas of goblin nobles

I want make mod with playable goblins. So they need noble positions. But vanilla dwarvish is boring, shamans  is double boring.

I want use bandit positions, so can you give me full list? Another positions - "master" is monarch demon, as example.

Have ideas about ringleader, chieftain, warlord and lieutenant? What they will do?

I also have alpha version of my mod with some goblinish nobles. Need it?

Have you considered gender-based positions? I imagine that Patriarchs, Matriarchs and the likes wouldn't be too far-fetched for a Goblin society. We could also see to something much more akin to a slave system, like the "Master" position that you proposed; we could add something like "Helots/Slaves" for the meager working class and peasants, Serfs for the administrators or someone remotely more important than your average wax worker and top it off with "Thrall/Master" as the top of the pyramid.

Have you considered gender-based positions? I imagine that Patriarchs, Matriarchs and the likes wouldn't be too far-fetched for a Goblin society. We could also see to something much more akin to a slave system, like the "Master" position that you proposed; we could add something like "Helots/Slaves" for the meager working class and peasants, Serfs for the administrators or someone remotely more important than your average wax worker and top it off with "Thrall/Master" as the top of the pyramid.
What about fortress mode nobles? Gender-based positions not work, only if make this positions also race based.

I considered making the war chiefs, tribal chieftains and goblin kings male only and shamans female only in my Goblin Fortress mod, but ended up taking it out. I can consider changing it back though. I have my positions restricted to goblin only anyway. Do you think a gender based society would add a lot?

I think it makes sense to restrict the race. I dont think a bunch of elves/humans/dwarves should hold nobility in a goblin fort.

This tribal shamans is very boring. Goblins better looks alike bandits, not tribes. Kobolds is tribal civ.

I actually think the opposite. In DF kobolds are a lawless bandit civ. Goblins are a counter to dwarves as a savage tribal civ.

Edit: but the great thing about modding is that you can make them whatever you want :)

Real bandits isn't full lawless tribe. They can be very organized (mafia). Kobolds is really near tribal lifestyle.

Did some Troll nobles for a Norse mythology mod which included titles such as Underking/Underqueen, Keeper of Meat, Keeper of Bones. Their lords/local leaders were called Squatters.
