Although somewhat annoyed by the reflex-halting curse that one of his remaining foes placed upon him, Alexander chose to speak, not striking and instead just standing with arms crossed (albeit mostly out of a recognition that with a light foe like this, the pattern here suggested he wouldn't be of much use, and the man was likely a skilled mage so advancing would be ill-advised).
