Are you really such an immense arsehole, or is it a dickplomacy trickery?

Yes and yes. Clearly I'm trying to entice you into an unbalanced attack out of rage. Maybe I could even get you to commit to send forth 3 large armies to attack different fortresses at once, playing directly into the situation I desire: an overextention I can defeat on the defense that then leads you open to being back-stabbed.... by me, since apparently no one wants to interrupt our glorious combat.

There is a little bit of being nice going on. The turn before, when you were busy building a lab in the forest because you had forgotten an item or something, I had done a ton of patrolling in case you were diving my cap at full speed: so everyone's scouts had been cleared out and missed the battle report. I'm just doing them a favor and letting them know how it went.

Besides, publicly taunting Romans is always good diplomacy, has been for 2700 years. The only thing better is taunting blood nations, and we're sadly lacking in those.

So I would like to note I don't ever lie about or break my treaties. That attack was news to me.

Maybe a bit too early, but here is sum up of the game from my perspective:
Nazca - unfortunetly ganged up on.
Phaecia - endures.
Sceleria - did sit in place and did nothing until it was way too late to do anything at all.
Tien Chi - apart from some squabless with Phaecia colonists, did literally nothing whole game, then got roflstomped by Marignon in an instant.
Rlyeh - Warred with Marignon and Nazca indeed. In main pool, did nothing so hard, he even completely ignored my troops and horrors capturing all his unforted provinces until they did, despite having a huge army with three motherfucking vastnesses.
Ctis - he did something? I don't really see him.
As well as Ashdod.
Marignon - soon to be hopefully not too effortless win?
All around - a huge waste of time.

Ashdod's been fighting Phaeacia for at least a year, I think.

And if I'm winning, it's with rather limited credit to myself. The bless on the knights just keeps auto-murdering everything it encounters.

That wasn't a bad plan, MCreeper, if ultimately suicidal. But quakes take too long to cast without innate spellcasting to make them viable without some chaff to buffer the caster. In dom4 you could have a lone mage reliably cast it on turn 1 or 2. Now it takes time and can be interrupted.

I wouldn't call it a waste of time, necessarily. I learned that maybe multiplayer Dominions is outside my skill level, as per the usual with competitive games :P

Bay12 is a weird mix of skill levels. You probably would do fine in a more homogeneous environment where everyone was more on your level experience-wise.

You guys better hurry up. ETA for win is 3 turns, unless interrupted.

Can you recommend such a place?

Rng has spoken. Now that i can't freeze all these flagellants dead, i'm adamantly not winning this battle.

Grip of Winter? I'm not sure it would have much utility in heat-3. But I do sympathise. My global caster was killed by Endymion's Wrath earlier.
To be fair to rng, you are sitting in a 20% hit chance province.

Also, I was going to hit you with Purgatory next turn, which should wipe out 80% of your undead in that province. But then I read the turn order rules again, and it looks like it would have taken effect only after the battle. So I guess we are going to fight it out in more conventional fashion.

On another front, I'm seeing a 1000-strong C'tis army hobbling about and being too late for the party. What was it waiting for all these turns, I wonder.

Bleh, wouldn't have helped, wafur flames, bugfeatury damage reversal and idiocy of placing things in reverse order be damned. Hail Flagellant God! At least now it's clearly visible that C'tis indeed did literally nothing whole game.
