Leave to find others who are more worthy of our leadership, also destroy any demons that we see.

Let's politely knock on the gates to get them to open, then accept the provisions they offer and set out to find more demons and those with the will to fight them.

Edit: I feel I should clarify. I mean we should break the gates open just by knocking on them.

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Leave the area, see if we can enter the hell gate and attack the demons in their own domain

Actually, yes, +1 to this. We've been getting off track.

I just want to note that being terrified of you, the people of this city would reasonably throw a feast in your name and lavish you with gifts to put you in a good mood. With a rolled one, however, that fear has made them unreasonable to a point. Just in case anyone was feeling cheated, I agree with you :P

You turn to depart, unwilling to deal anymore with the fearful and stubborn inhabitants of the city. Perhaps the Knight negotiating thought it was an opportunity, or he became greedy for the sword on your back. Either way, a longbowman loosed an arrow at your back. Instead of sinking through your throat, Sir Fronel stepped in way, and sacrificed his life for yours, the arrow piercing through his right eye. He collapsed to the ground with a moan. Your men are shocked into silence, even the men on the battlements seem to hold their breathe.

What do you do?
A. Walk away, it was an accident.
B. They have repaid your patience with dishonor and death. Leap up there, and repay those who have done you wrong.
C. Something else?

You crouch and leap into the air, it takes only a moment for your to roll onto the gatehouse. The longbowman who fired the arrow you decapitate with a quick swing of the sword. His body and head drop to the ground as the Knight and others on the gatehouse freeze in fear. You point your sword at the Knight,
“I expect those provisions.”

Without another word you leap down back your men. Your champions stare at the gate and wall in anger, and several bows are nocked and ready to fire. You tell them to march on, but though they comply they do so with grumbles, and Sir Fronel’s brother, still hugging the warm bloody, swears bloody vengeance against the city.

The Hell gate had crumbled into stumps by the time you approach. It would offer no entry to you and yours. Perhaps you had managed to stop the invasion? Somehow you doubted it. You summon a war council of your more educated champions.
What is your next step?
A. Go to the next nearest city, known as Elmhome.
B. Go to the capital of Kingsgarden, and seek the King’s guidance.
C. One suggests going to the Dwarven fortress of Kavarsh Cevual, to outfit yourself and your men in worthy gear.
D. And the last, an old man with a white beard, quietly suggested traveling to the wizard tower by Lorchus, a town to the north. After you glanced away from him, he disappeared. No one remembered seeing anyone like that, but Lorchus was a far distance north from here.
E. Something else?
