Deep Mines and Biosphere

As we already have an advanced component, gaining additional ore and organics will go a ways toward cheapening the basic stuff.

That and Fenris may be more useful there, maybe... Either way, getting more should be a focus.

Milo Javelin

The Milo is made up of titanium, with Negative Alloy M-23 and Positive Alloy M-23. The positive rests at the head of the spear, and at the bottom of the spear rests the negative. In the middle lies a negative M-23 as well. And along the core walls is an electric strip.

As for the spearhead, titanium again, and where the sphere meets the pole is a powerful battery wrapped around it smoothly, reducing drag on the weapon. This battery has a small disconnected port which can be connected, and then charged, allowing reuse. And on the side of the pole is an inset switch which when pressed will cause the charge to build up for 3 seconds before discharging to each M-23 Alloy.

How this weapon works is pretty simple. You press the button, line up, and launch it as it triggers. The negative is pushed and pulled to the positive, generating a huge amount of lateral force in that second, and the titanium head is both heavy and sharp enough to go through most things in it's path.

The battery is protected by it's curve and the titanium shell. It's an expensive weapon meant to be thrown and retrieved. Moreover, it's solidness also leads to the owner being able to use one to assist in jumps and lunges forward without throwing them, or as a type of movement aid underwater. The grip on the pole is solid, and it's strength will keep it in use for a long time to come.

As for the shape, the spear part looks like a solid pyramid that has been pressed flat(a Triangle with a flat base in other words). the battery flows along the two sides beneath this  The pole meanwhile, is a solid ten feet long, giving it great reach both for light and heavy power armors, if in different manners. A sling has also been provided for carrying up to 5, though 2 or 3 is more common.

Here's to not having to fight completely underwater if we do this right.

Mk. 1 Night Vision Device

The Mark 1 Night Vision Device is exactly what it sounds like: a photocathode image intensification system and assorted optics packaged for use as a head-mounted system, allowing for our soldiers to see in low-light conditions without the use of a light source.

Lightning Shotgun

The Lightning Shotgun uses Alloy M-23 to fire both buckshot, AP Rounds, or hardened flare at high speed. This is effectively all there is to it, but we'll go over some details.

Based off the Shotgun MK1, when the trigger is pulled, the battery pack carried by the user on them powers Alloy-M-32 rails built into the gun. The Magnetic field is created for an instant to accelerate the buckshot, AP Rounds, or hardened flare at extremely high velocity. For Buckshot, it will effectively shred everything in front of it, and while not the best at medium range, it can and will tear through the enemy if they happen to get hit by one of the pellets. For the AP Round, it can hit mid to long ranges very accurately, being made with hardened tungsten tips. For the hardened flare design, they have an iron shell so that they also crack suits, but more importantly can reach mid range. Their is also an explosive round where the flare is replaced with the impact-triggered explosives in question.

All of these, other than the explosive option, also still have the launch power behind them. It's mostly adding the Alloy-M-23 into the design and lengthening the barrel a bit for Maximum Oomph. And it can be linked into a suit's own power instead of the pack that is attached. It also has an interesting effect underwater, in that the gun can just use the Alloy-M-23 instead of tradition mechanisms to achieve the same effective range as the Shotgun MK1. This is due to being propelled by the magnetic wave, rather than the normal method which would never work underwater.

please remove the  SFS Exodus from the design list as it has been made irrelevent by the Dual shotgun. I believe we need a heavy weapon for the Fenris to wield, as it is we only have short ot middle range weapons.

HMRW A-2"Álfheimr"
The Heavy magnetic Resonance Weapon "Álfheimr" Design A, a production-ready design for a magnetically accelerated kinetic weapon.
The monopole alloy, M-23, is configured into a centrifugal chamber that accelerates a projectile u[p to a critical speed and holds it until the release mechanism is activated. This system allows for the acceleration of the kinetic projectile to extreme speeds. Once a critical velocity is met and the trigger is depressed, the projectile is then directed into a set of rails that straighten the projectile's velocity. These first-gen HMRW's we create are bulky, heavy anti-armor rifles designed to be fielded by the Fenris as their main armament. They are designed to interface with a power armors batteries to decrease wielded bulk, and are distributed with power packs with enough capacity to augment suit power systems to handle the load. The Alfheimr is designed with a hermetically sealed case for underwater operations.

Functionally, this is an automatic weapon able to fire metal slugs at the enemy with incredibly high speeds.

SSR-3 Monopole Assisted Intrinstically  MagnEtic Railgun (MAIMER) "Hardnail"
The primary issue with railguns is the tendency to rip themselves apart when firing, in normal configurations, it requires the rails to be replaced after every shot.

With the production of standardized Monopole materials, it becomes possible to create railguns that use this material to create a high-yield magnetically fired projectile that is combat-capable with reasonable maintenance tables.

Monopole alloys are ground into a dust and then carefully integrated within the outer layer of rail-guns firing rails, and aligned with the electrical discharge nodes that are designed to fire a high-capacitance discharge so that it emits just enough power to counteract. A casing of a paramagnetic material is placed to act as an outer casing as well as a counteraction of excessive magnetic fields from damaging the power armor gauntlets of the user.

This dust is placed such that it counteracts the majority of the forces that would normally split the rails apart, while also introducing a stabilizing and centrifugal force on the projectile along its entire radius, allowing for a higher range and accuracy for the weapon.

The first MAIMER's we create are bulky, heavy anti-armor rifles designed to be fielded by the Fenris. Its battlefield designation is "SSR-3, "Hardnail" They are designed to interface with the power armors batteries to decrease wielded bulk, and are distributed with power packs designed to be attached to the back or the limbs as long two inch thick external strips so as to increase the time at which these weapons and it's wielders can be fielded.

The weapon is semiautomatic, its shells reloaded by a side-mounted magazine.

I'M BACK!

Medium difficulty, rolled 5, Below average.
The Alfheimer is a difficult first step. An advanced weapon of a more civilized age made a primitive reality. It charges slowly, requires a lot of power, and doesn't play nice with water. But it can go through heavy armor like little else can.
Alfheimer
A powerful anti armor rifle, it doesn't play well with water and is difficult to manufacture, but it'll pierce through just about anything.

Shotgun Economics
attempt is made to simplify the logistics and to use heavier, cheaper materials in the construction of the shotgun Mk2 while retaining it's other characteristics. if required, the size of the barrel can be decreased and new shells to ease the material requirements of fabricating the new weapon.
