Surprisingly there is "adult" content in CK3. There is actual fully modeled nudity (at least for breasts). Supposedly you can get breast "traits" and grow big ones (or small ones, but I wonder how that would work in australia, because small breast nudity is illegal in australia). But this is only what I heard in discord so not 100% on that part of traits.
I'm not sure in what context the game would show bare breasts. If someone finds it, I'd quite like to see the original source of this information. However I'm sure even if this isn't true, it will be modded in, considering something like that was modded in for CK2 which couldn't even show the breasts since the portraits don't go down that far.

Also, small-breasted nudity is not illegal in Australia. Not to stop anyone from making fun of the Australian government, which easily as disfunctional as any other governing body, but that didn't pass.

No it didn't. People legitimately found it not to be fun, and the player numbers reflect that. By a month after release, it had lower numbers than any other Paradox game released in the last decade, comparable to Victoria 2. When your new release has a tenth the users of most of your other games and is only comparable to the one that the company barely support and doesn't intend to make a sequel to due to low numbers of users, it's pretty clear that the people leaving negative feedback aren't just review bombing.

As an aside, I also like the DLC policy now, but it took them a while to get it to this point and their were some questionable decisions along the way.

The nudity bit is confirmed. Check the CK2 subreddit, a full on dev released picture showed a lady with no top.

Only a matter of time before the "consummate the marriage" and "Affair" sex mini-games.

Affair minigames are already in as a scheme. Explicit sexual content will presumably be mod-only though. Upon going on a rabbit hunt for more info (which is sparse) it also seems that nudity is limited to adults, which presumably is for legal reasons since in real life it's not exactly rare for kids to run around naked at beaches or just because their families aren't that rich. For a superior degree of immersion/realism, it would be nice if that could be implemented without people shouting about child porn (or, indeed, implementing child porn) but I don't hold out much hope in that regard. Still, I'd rather see that than sex minigames. But the visual representation of characters, of all ages, is definitely already more thorough than in CK2.

3d models are going to complicate the only CK2 mod that matters, the anime portraits mod.

imagine if the anime portrait mod was a 2d flat artwork, that'd be amusing

especially since the original is exactly that, with the clothing and such overlaid onto the pic

i never understood the hatred for it, it's a nice mod that keeps portraits visually consistent

I think in my first MP game, I'll have to make a nudist religion, and try to force all my friends to convert to it. Get naked or die, y'know?

I too look forward to playing Vocaloid Kings.

... and for my second game...

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

The nudist religious tenet honestly seems like a good one to me since I prefer to avoid tyranny anyway.

I hope at least they do less... meme-y version of the religions. Especially for the pagans.

Letting the players goof around with religions is something I'm fine with though, it's just that CK2's portrayal of several religions is, uh... not that good. Which I wouldn't mind if I hadn't seen people take it as actual factual representations of those religions.

Always a risk with historical games, especially ones that are highly education in some ways. It's impossible without additional research to know what stuff the game is teaching you right and what it's got wrong.

Yeah, but at least the devs should be able to recognize that it the article on Wikipedia sucks (as most about religion do) then that shouldn't be their first and only source.
