Is it absolutely established that we are the only human seedship? Could this be another vessel of souls from Earth?

Our courses are converging; to what point, exactly? Do we have a common destination or would we cross paths in interstellar space?

I don't see anything to suggest that the other options could not be attempted at a slightly later time, with more observation to back up our predictions.

That vessel may have the capability and intention to destroy the seedship.  It is better for us to simply continue on our journey.  Curiosity killed the cat.

If we were a scout ship or exploration this would be wonderful.  As a ship filled with colonists, better to avoid risk.
