[New Mod] Advaita mod -the humble Dwarfmonk Mod-

I created something new and simple, for everyone adv and for players, with a little bit of humor and blood. This way you can train some relevant skills for combat, that are also linked to non physical attributes, making the character creation more diverse. It is time for me to shut up, let me introduce you to the new Advaita Mod, the humble Dwarf Monk Mod.


Dwarf Cleaner Monk in action

In the time before time, dwarves living in Zoluthlun, the Combatcloudy Fortress, reached the underworld spire Lanatal Xaninil opening the gates to devils, spirits and aberrations. After the evil occupation of the fortress, only a few dwarves remained alive hiding themselves in the cleaning rooms of the underground palace. They were trapped in the caves with access to the piles of food, however the lack of beer made some of those braves dwarves go crazy. Nevertheless, the rest of dwarves developed new skills they never imagine they could have just focusing in a brick with the size of a molecule in the left side of the big steel door that was between them and the exit. After a mass meditation, together as a unit, the dwarves in the bathrooms started to punch the walls with the power of thousands of bronze colossus' arms , bashing the metal door and exiting the damn fortress. The survivors gathered in a secret temple up in the mountains and continue the meditation, creating this way the CLEAN way of the monk.

What is this? This is a simple mod for adventure and fortress mode with simple mechanics to improve abandoned skills and give some combat options to the CLEAN job.

Which Skills? Balance and concentrate, improving combat, social and spiritual attributes.

Why this simplicity? because I think Dwarf Fortress needs our imagination to work as it is intended. So I'm not going to limit you with some mechanics, do as you wish.

How to install:

Copy the text on the text boxes in a notepad.

Saves as the name I give you before each text box.

Copy paste the files in the raw folder, it is inside your dwarf fortress folder.

In order to make your fortresses build monk temples you need to do this steps:

Open your raw folder inside your dwarf fortress folder.

Search in the folder for the entity_default.txt and open it with notepad

Search in the entity_default.txt for [ENTITY:MOUNTAIN] and copy paste this text after [TRANSLATION:DWARF]

And now you can unite yourselves with the conscience of the universe and kill those evil bastards like a real dwarf. I have had some fun doing and testing this mod.

So what does this actually... do? What happens when you meditate?

Nothing, I don't think you can train exp without any products of a reaction. I think its intended to train BALANCE and CONCENTRATION which isn't useful.
It claims to give combat options to CLEAN, but it doesn't do anything like that.

Why does an adventurer have to go to a player fort to meditate and concentrate?
