I thought "Your fate is sealed" means you've already been cursed?

After all, you can't become a werewambler if you're already a werecavvy.

I've been experimenting, and that indeed seems to be the case. All dice rolls result in "Your fate is sealed" once you've been vampirized, no matter which god's die you roll or how many times you roll it. There doesn't seem to be any effect attached.

Rather grim sort of thing, really. Once you've been vampirized, the gods will forever forsake you.

Were you vampirized due to the dice, or were you vampirized through, say, drinking vampire blood? Has anyone who has had a vampire become such without direct divine intervention tried rolling the dice?

Also is there any truth to this? "The 'beast transformation' curse seems to be treated as a normal syndrome, and, thus, can be instantly healed by simply unloading the cell (fast travelling, sleeping). However, the victim appears to suffer stat penalties afterwards, as though they still had their animal body"

I watched someone (Kruggsmash) start getting that after being explicitly cursed with a lycanthropy variant after repeatedly rolling. That character received that 'sealed' message every time they tried again subsequently. Another character in the party was not affected.

Another note: first the character was cursed with a week of bad luck. The sealed message did not begin to occur until the werecreature curse was applied.

So... apparently this is a thing! :))

I just got the same blessing message, but no weapon appeared! Where did yours appear, in your inventory or on the ground?

Were you standing on the altar tile when you rolled the die, or some place else?

On the altar tile-- I don't see what difference it'd make tho? Not sure what you're dealing with there.

I was standing on the altar tile too. Guess that rules out the presence of a built object on the tile as a hindrance to spawning a weapon. Still have no idea what happened.

Strange. If you have the save file, perhaps you could put it up as a bug.

I don't think the save file will be useful, because I've already fast traveled to two different sites since the bug happened. I'll still report it though.

Also worth noting that "holy handwear" and "holy footwear" give you one item of the respective category, not two, either due to an oversight or because the gods are just that cheap.
This means that it is indeed possible to get blessed with a single holy sock.
Actually, I've tested this:
A couple neat things:
[IE_ITEM:100:1:SHOES:ITEM_SHOES_BOOTS:INORGANIC:IRON] gives 2 boots, not one.
Summoned gauntlets are flagged with left and right tags correctly, unlike gauntlets from custom reactions. Unless that's changed too I guess.
Edit: Just tested, reaction made gloves are still broken.

Oh, that's good to know.  I stand corrected.

How do you roll a die? I seem to only get the option to name it by interacting with it with I.

Make sure your adventurers believes in a deity or it'll not give you the option to roll a dice.
