Downloaded the save. I'll probably start in the next few days. Are there any pieces of vital intelligence I should know, or important problems that are vital to fix, that anybody knows of?

Fort is running at 21 FPS, the ground is having a panic attack in places, and what looks like a conga line of zombified Hungry Heads has formed on (I think) Z-level 32 of the caverns.
I love dwarven status reports.

Sorry all, been horribly busy lately and also crashed a motorbike. Banged up not enough to miss work, but enough to make everything slower and more difficult. I'll do my best to update the OP soon and catch up on the last update.

My first impression upon opening the save was "This is an absolute mess, and I just want to move everyone down away from the surface."

My second impression was "so... MANY... BEARS!"

Funny, I thought it got destroyed

I'm not sure if Turn 40 and Year 40 will be the same, I think there's some skipped steps there somewhere. I could have also messed up the count in the OP.

My wife and I are trying to better divvy up baby duty and free-time. I haven't played DF since sometime late last year, but hopefully I can swing some time to do a refresher fort and then actually take a turn for Smallhands.

Turn order, Fatcat should be 39 I think? might be one missed somewhere

Fatcat hasn't posted for a bit. Might have gotten swamped with something. You're welcome to the save.

I'm sorry for disappearing. I tried playing, couldn't find anything, got discouraged, and just picked it up again two days ago. I can let someone else run the year, or go on myself. If I keep going, I have an update I can write now. Things can only get better, since all the skeletons are getting cleaned up now.
