we have a new generation of cat's!

The story has taken an unexpectedly cute turn

All cute and cuddly until they get killed during a siege and brought back to unlife.

Grab the image's direct url (right click and view image/copy image address on most browsers). You'll need to upload them somewhere - imgur or something similar.

Paste that in a post and surround it with tags. (I added spaces so they would show up.)

as we come to another year in the great fortress of Smallhands, the overseer of this year was a lazy and uninterested.

almost immediately when the year began a group of scum attacked the mighty fortress. but ofcourse our mighty people defended their home with power that those evil beings can't even comprehend.
a larg pile of body's layed on the ground for a few days. but after the overseer began thinking that the items the attackers used might be worth a lot. he ordered his men, dwarfs, elves and other servants to collect all of the stuff the evil attackers brought with them.

when the siege was over, a caravan from the humans of Anthath Adoth arrived and the trade began.

While the trade was going on, the election for mayor ended and Avuz Sibrek- (something, it is pretty long) was re-elected.

at the 8th of Galena (late-summer) a new generation of cats where born.

and as cats are born, dwarfs grow up, Ast Kilrudzokun was no longer a helpless baby but a child. he almost immediatley made friends and began playing. this made the old dwarfs think back at when they where young, long ago.. in a diffrent fortress, perhaps it was invaded by monsters, maybe it was captured by a dragon or even where murdered by ghost boats from a river of magma.
but the days keep on going, just like the fortress.

the miner Cerol Mengigër became mad like a demonic creature and went beserk. he had to be stopped by the citizens of the fortress. and so we lose brave people to madness and strange spells. perhapse the ghost of the miner will be seen working on the mason's workshop he claimed...

the winter was harsh but luckilyl there where more than enough supplies, and during the snowy day: 10th of Obsidian there came even more cat friends to accompany our dwarfs in this strange place they recentley began calling "home".

and as the green leafs of spring came, so too came the time for a new overseer. the last wasn't very memorable for his militairy or building efforts. he was just there to lead the fortress for another year, in the dark times of fear and conflict in the world..

but not in Smallhands, only there was a glowing torch of hope.. a flickering light that would inevitably go silent one day.. but not this day... keep hope my fellow dwarfs.. keep hope and perhaps the end will come later, rather than sooner..

Welp, I’m up. Time to download this and see what state the fortress is in, as well as if I can finish this.

As I have a large amount of schoolwork to do, I may not be updating for a while. If Spriggans wants to do his turn and push me back, that works. Otherwise, I’ll see if and when I can update.

It's chill, I'd say - work at your own pace and we'll be here! Also, no one judges you for choosing to pass - life always finds a way, to get in the way

Thanks for the final words on your turn, Castimier. Melodrama at it's finest:

Wah, oh, uh, okay, thank you. I was kinda busy last weeks searching for a new job, but I still think I'll be able to steal a turn after Spriggans. I already have a thing or two on my mind that I wanted to try in Smallhands' circumstances (not that I'm sure I won't mess up everything, though).
