At the sight of the undead surrounding the dying native, Anumita slammed her research journal shut. She pursed her lips for just a split second as she exchanged the journal with a tome from the folds of her robe.
"Oh. How... Disappointing. I was actually hoping for living enemies this time. Well... still worth a test, I suppose. Even if my hypothesis doesn't bode well for this..."

Gaspar took a dignified stance for the teleport. Who knows, maybe they'd find themselves in a local's presence again. Almost disappointed by the woodland surroundings that appear, he looks around.

"At least this one is sunny...twice? And undead attacking in broad daylight!"

Hopping into a combat stance and drawing his tome, Gaspar moves to blast the skeleton Maria just shot, noting the enemies were left particularly weak by the first attacks of the party and open for an even harder offensive. The girl from Shari-Val is moving towards the enemy rather unenthusiastically; her attack could use a bit of extra confidence...

"Don't stop to tut at them, Anumita! Show them what you did to the skeletons in the last world, in every world!"

Equip Wind. 6,5. Attack Sword Skeleton C. If Press the Assault procs, Anumita gets the move.

The Anatomist stopped and pondered his words a moment. Soon her earlier disappointment was replaced by her usual chipper self as she prepared her tome.

As both the first to have charged in and started this snowball rolling and the last to shoot, Irina couldn't help but feel slightly sheepish.

"Ah...oh dear."

Frankly speaking, after the rapid and efficient deconstruction of the small gang of skeletons, Giuseppina couldn't help but feel uncharacteristically proud. They'd really done a good job - including her!! She'd practically taken the horrible skeleton she fought down with ease, even, something she could barely believe.

And... then came the yelling, causing Giuseppina to immediately wince and shrink back a fair couple of feet - she really, really didn't like getting yelled at, although there was some mercy in that she had no idea what he was saying. Still, she had to fight back an entirely counterproductive urge to hide behind Aliberti (authority), Kostya (big), or Alexis (armored).
