Just as well shipwrecked is a valid path for this.
If it isn't obvious, those wyverns are a timer. The Pirates were too, but you took care of most of them.

A reminder of your lose conditions. You All Die, all Allied Units Die, All your Masts are destroyed.

Well, I think of this as a valuable learning experience.

A gentle reminder your NPCs are Level 5 to their ten. They all have Hand Axes at least.
