There's a lot of stuff happening in the universe at the same time. Like, a LOOOOOOT!

A person is waking up in the morning,

Meanwhile, a man in West Brooklyn is at a McDonald's on his lunch break. He's been trying to eat better lately, get back the body he had in his 20s, but after the events of last night... somehow that doesn't matter to him so much right now.

There is little joy in the Big Mac he now consumes.
