Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

And thus was the dwarven meatshield invented.
the child should serve well in the infantry (that is a horrible pun, and I already regret saying it).

Turn 2 Revision Results

Quote from: Blast Arrow
The exploding slingstones are better then sparks, most people agree, even if they're harder to use. But arrows, people also agree, are better then slings. So some bright soul decided to see if they could make some exploding arrows! They soon switched to seeking to make arrows that exploded when they were supposed to be exploding instead of while still notched on the bow, but still, the idea stood. Eventually, by making an arrow primarily out of metal, they succeeded in making an arrow that, when infused with a spell based on the Spark spell and the exploding slingstones, could be fired out to explode when it hits a target.

[Normal] 5 + 5 = Superior

A fairly logical and straightforward improvement to a spell we've already had nailed down fairly well; the Blast Arrow is truly a terrifying spell for its simplicity. The heavy bronze arrow on its own is fearsome, but the magic applied to it, which the bronze seemed to readily 'drink up', causes it to burst roughly a second after impact. Though not all things are amazing; it seems that the sparks spell applied to it is trying to propel the arrow directly at the target, not enough to override the bow (the motive force was never designed to move a physical object after all); but the dissonance between the angle of firing the bow and this force can cause the arrow to veer off course and tumble on anything but a direct shot. An issue that wasn't a problem with the mostly uniform slingstones. Still, the spell is flexible enough to be adjusted, or even for that aspect of the magic to be suppressed. Though this tends to slow down rate of fire and mentally tax the Frelki who've cast it. Though some speculation has gone around; could a mind dedicated to the art exploit this facet of the spell to accomplish greater things?

Blast Arrows are [Common]; though barely, meaning that the Frelki can indeed cast these projectiles. Due to a quirk in the magic; it's rather slow and taxing to cast, though this is a minor issue that could potentially turned into a boon by a Specialized caster.

Quote from: Wooden Boat Refinement
There's nothing actually wrong with the Wooden Sailing Boat schematics. They're just... unpolished. So therefor what we need to do is to refine the design so that it actually works without the slapdash 'well this works so do it' measures of the initial design, replacing slapdash construction with thoughtful skill and makeshift craft with skilled craft. And replacing the overly-heavy mast reinforcement with something more refined. That would also be good.

[Normal] 1 + 5 = Average

For once, something in our nautical department went right. Gone are the eyesores of old, and in with the new fleet of sleek yet durable boats. The reinforcement was streamlined, no excess here, and the hull strengthened. The latest boats are no longer excessively heavy and so can finally exploit their full cargo capacity, and those who worry about the mast were reassured that it's fine. Overall, a this is a vessel to be proud of. We weren't able to noticeably cheapen the boat, however; though it's certainly a fine boat. [Uncommon]
