Right then. Here's the contract, which needs to be posted by all members to be valid. Seems a little excessive, now that I think about it. It seems unlikely that someone would try to put someone on a contract without their permission, and if they did, the person in question could object. But for now, that's the way it's gotta be.

It's mainly to get the agreement to be laid out explicitly and in writing, so that I can easily find it. Not much of a problem now, but it might become one once everyone has a bit more capital, and thus more to negotiate over.

I think that's up to the players, innit. If you want to sell your stake in a venture to someone else, you can do that. At least, I think that was my idea when I came up with the concept, that the GM wouldn't have to do any bookkeeping for players, and they could manage their affairs however they pleased. I can't say how Kashyyk intends to run things, though.
If you mean selling shares to the NPC public, I feel that would go against the basic idea of working together with others to fund ventures.

Nuke's got it pretty much right there.

You all essentially have equal shares in the Yarnu, so you could theoretically sell those shares to another player (be it one of the other four or a new investor). You could also donate your share to the Crown if you so wished, as it is currently in a bit of financial difficulty.

In completely unrelated news, laws may change during play. There is absolutely no correlation* between how much you donate to the Crown and whether laws end up in your favour.

Okay second ship ahoy!

Iron Mountain Ind. proposes hiring a ship, the “Laden Swallow”, to sail the trade route between the Motherlands and the Nearsouthlands, purchasing the fine Sand there.

Iron Mtn. Ind. will contribute at least 2 Guineas, and is looking for other partners willing to invest 1 or 2 Guineas, with shares equal to proportion of investment (I.e. each share worth a 1/10th proportion of profit).
