So, something that consists primarily of plastic (but also has a component that was once alive,) contains no moving parts, fits in a pocket, is hollow, sometimes found in kitchens/dining rooms, owned by many (but not the average person) is a container, sort of soft, sort of tool, contains no text, uses no electricity.

is it a watering can?

No, I don't think so, although rich people are certainly more likely to own it in America. I own it, and I don't think of myself as rich at all, and I assume there are probably many people who own it in much poorer countries, though there are alternatives serving the same purpose which might be more common in places like Africa. "Rich" is a relative term, after all.
