My original plan was to just take a break and do some quick science-only forts until the new version, until I got a few ideas together... I thought I'd be too busy, but assuming a weekend launch, I think I can throw together one last, rather simple but aesthetically pleasing, fort. It'd be a bit silly but a lot of fun, which seems pretty appropriate to me.

I was attempting to finish my mega project but there isn't enough time. So instead I'm going to carve out the magma pool and drop it like a hammer onto all my dwarfs who will be stationed in a pit below it. Probably recruit the last miner and send him off to battle alone.

Today, I celebrated by executing 100 goblin filth in my new arena. Granted, I had to play long enough to get another siege to have exactly 100, but it was worth it all to christen the new version with copious goblin blood.
