Errors about availability of items for reactions

Is this a known Masterwork problem? I have plenty of honeycombs, but no dwarf will press it due to "Needs non-pressed HONEYCOMB_PRESS_MAT-producing honeycomb". Similarly, the scriptorium will not produce books because of lack of quires, while in fact I have plenty of quires.

Oh, unrelated, the game crashes when I try to slaughter a leatherwing bat.

Re: the scriptorium, it also doesn't see that I have plenty of thread. And no, there's no linked workshops
