What are some of the funniest or craziest names you've got in your world? In mine I had an elven civ named The Hairy Sister. There was also a goblin local group named The Dungeon of Dominating (I wonder what those goblins are into). And a forgotten beast named The Anus of Thieves.

The Order of Mining - goblin religion around dwarven goddess of metals. It appears the goblins were in fact the first to worship Kadol, and the goblins who did so warred with other goblins. It seems that these goblins became so ultra-dwarfy that they worshiped the dwarven goddess of metal before she even knew she existed.

The Urns of Cats- Dwarven Group

The group name in my current fort, going to have a lot of dead cats once I get to some magma. Not really funny but I got a really good parent civ name this time around to, The Pillars of Slaughter. To bad they don't have any interesting gods other then a mountian goat god (if I remember right).
