Cattleya was bent over, huffing for breath. Gods, she'd used her arte more than her sword, but exploding was so effective, and time was short... it was only agonising, anyway, and who else could do the same damage she did in an instant?

She swiped at the blood coming from her nose and only really spread it around more.

Arnett, despite his exhaustion, almost instinctively and immediately hurried over to where Catt was to immediately start painting over all of the wounds she created on herself. Meanwhile, Arnett's Imago cracked its knuckles, rushed in and attempted to deliver an Alphinite-infused uppercut to one of the nearby Fiends.

Thinking about it, maybe she'd meant to do this, to steer the conversation towards a lighter topic, rather than complicated stuff about whether Catt was hurting herself a lot with her Arte to fight her hardest too much of the time. That seemed like a bother. Maybe she'd just wanted to butt in to ask about motherfluffer after all.
