can I get leather from cut leather armor？

I know  the leather can be use to make Leather bag, armor,....  But can I get leather from bag,armor？

There's no natural 'material recycling' of this kind (unlike with meltable, i.e. metal, items).

But there'd be plenty of scope to mod in some custom reaction(s), and I'm sure that there are already snippets of that kind that have been used. If nobody with enough toes in the modding community answers her directly, you could always go and look around/ask on that bit of subforum.
