Am I allowed to move my spent Florin to the current contract or is it too late to change that?
Sure. Also, while it's very cool that you're willing to spend 2 florins on exploration, you might consider spending it on something that brings income first.

You'll also want to save some. This game includes upkeep in the form of mandatory personal expenses, regular enterprise maintenance, and paying for trinkets.

So I see that there's a list of "publicly known locations". If the owners of a ship chose to do so, could they fund a private expedition and keep any route they find as a trade secret? What would it cost to do so?

Could I send a ship to follow sensei's ship?

An interesting question, although in this case, the only ship in which I have shares is one in which you also have shares.

Yes. I will be honest, I haven't worked out that branch thoroughly. So for now it is free to send your ship exploring (other than the loss of ability to use the ship for turning profit) with double chance of things going wrong on the voyage (since it will be traversing unexplored waters.) And you can send a ship to follow another ship, but there is a chance they will lose it (during the night or a storm) and have to come back empty handed. This might change.

It's fine.  This game type is REALLY hard to run, even the simple ruleset.  I'd argue it's as taxing as a Gen 1 Arms Race, at least.

Can I ask everyone to post their holdings this turn? I'm trying to figure out who owns what shares without going through the whole thread.

And let it be generally known that Mr. S. Gottlieb of the newly formed Republican Oversea Company seeks like minded investors for a the purchase and outfitting of a trading ship for the purpose of establishing regular trade between our Motherland and the Aloysius Shores.

Douchound Inc. donates 3 Groschen to Adalwolf Forscher.
You skipped where I also donated money to the expedition.

(Hope I did it right this time.)
