Can someone please tell me, how do I stop flying as a flying creature?
Because in the S menu, my speed settings are displayed as Maximum Flight Speed, Faster flight, Fast flight etc. instead of Spring, Run and Jog etc.

The < and > keys should control your Z-level when flying. Just keep pressing < (I think that's the one that lowers Z level) until you reach the ground - you should be able to tell when the gait names change.

You can use < > to change views while looking, by the way - not a bad idea to 'l'ook at the ground before landing - lest you fall in water or something.
