Fox-Landship Halls

"Oh?" Was that so? Having very little experience with private landships, this was news to her. "I will keep thinking, Headbanger." Though she did not expect to have some brilliant idea about what to do with the ship. But for now she'd been wandering about in the halls aimlessly for a while, and wanted to see some more specific areas of the ship.

"Bye", she murmured, gave a small wave, and departed down the hall, making her way to the armory.

After taking a few steps through the door, Fox stopped, attempting to judge whether she was interrupting much. No talking, but the people here seemed to be working. She'd have to determine what they were working on, in order to know if her presence was a distraction, she decided, so she found a place to sit down to watch the work.

As Fox attempts to enter the armory, she would likely bump into the slowly purposefully plodding form of... someone she probably hadn't met before. A knight of sorts judging by the make and decor of their armor. Although the boxy weapon they were carrying certainly wasn't a sword or lance. The armored figure coughs a few moments after impact, and simply replies with, "Morning."

Headroom - Landship Halls but like, somewhere else

""Mmh, that's true. I think I might have something, but I guess we need to build up our assets first."

Headroom suddenly feels a little awkward, like they were a scientist running out naked from a bathtub yelling about density, except they didn't have more than some circumstantial leads they could possibly chase later. Either way, Hooch was right, after all, Headroom transferred here because they didn't think Karlan would be willing to protect them if trouble came their way.

Casimir - Armory
Fox would similarly be greeted by silence as the large Sarkaz still working on his weapon tightens various bolts and screws before standing. He hefts the shield in his right arm, giving it a few bangs against the floor and a few practice swings through the air to ensure there's not concerning wiggles or shifting. Finally, he takes a wider stance as he slams a lever up and swings down in a strong overhead, the shield using the momentum to swing out into a two handed sword. Apparently pleased with the display he nods and applies a few drops of oil to the hinges before waiting for Stasi to leave to speak to Fox. "While I don't typically mind an audience, it's a bit odd to be watched while I do that you know."
He chuckles, letting the feline know he's just joking before extending his hand to shake. "Code name is Casimir, but please call me Velimir when we aren't working. More casual and all, y'know?"

Kagura- Landship Halls

Letting out a small shrug at Headbanger's quiet snort, Kagura watched the two Felines converse, content to be quiet herself until Headbanger ultimately turned back to her. Though the threat itself was small, Kagura's ears flicked in slight annoyance, followed by the Vulpo letting out another sigh, "Yeah, Aqua wanted the same thing. My sleep schedule's gonna be messed up for days at this rate..." she muttered, before taking notice of Fox's departure, causing the Vulpo to snap out of her thoughts and turn to wave her goodbye.

... Right before realizing that she still had the spade and seeds, and now Fox had departed for god knows where.

"... Well, this is odd. I guess I'll have to drop these off soon" she commented, looking down at the gardening supplies before looking back at Headbanger... And taking notice of the large Sankta making his way down the halls behind her. Wonderful, she couldn't go five seconds without someone new popping in, and she wasn't even going to be allowed to sleep to make up for all the action until much later, "Well Headbanger, while I suspect you've already ran into Aquarius, how do you feel about the ship? Full of possibilities, and plenty of folk around for socializing with."

Fox after walking into the armored figure, shakes her head trying to brush off the impact. "Good morning." It seemed that, in searching for a good place to watch the Sarkaz work, she'd wandered into someone else. "I'm sorry." She stepped aside to let the armored figure pass.

Before Fox has really processed what the man was working on, he'd already reached out to shake hands in greeting. So she responded in kind, with extreme deliberation. "I'm Fox. So. . . Casimir when fighting? And Velimir now?" She cocked her head, a little perplexed.

The Sarkaz nods, deliberately shaking Fox's hand with notable gentleness as he starts to respond. "Yes, I'm aware that it might be odd for a Sarkaz, especially a mercenary, but I prefer to keep those identities separate."

Headbanger - Landship Halls

[I'm still getting a feel for it. Definitely making headway on scoping it out.] The Feline paused, ears beginning to lay back. Her gaze moving over Kagura's shoulder told the story: it was fixed on Remiel. [You didn't mention the giant shiny asshole, is he really on the crew?] Her tails lashed in opposite directions once before she forcibly suppressed the movement. Mostly, anyway.

"Ah." She would need to be careful then, not to mix this up. Yet another thing to remember. "What are you doing?" Fox queried, in regards to Velimir's use of that unusual shield. She pointed, to indicate what she meant.

Remiel - Landship Halls
Remiel makes his way towards Kagura and Headbanger, raising a hand in greeting as he lowers his headphones.
"Hello, friends! It's a glorious day to be up, no? Have you two eaten yet? I was planning to drop by the galley to get something to eat. A hearty breakfast is always a good start to the day, yes?"

Casimir - Armory
Velimir looked where Fox pointed briefly before letting out a small "Ah!" and nodding. "That's my weapon. Don't know where it's from or how it was made but it's a shield that converts into a great sword when you pull the lever on it. I was doing my daily matainence on it before you came in and was just putting it through it's paces. The gears are still a bit tight, can tell because of the whine when it switches, but otherwise the old girl is still in top condition. Just added some oil to the gears and it should be fine."

Unless she was of incredibly perceptive hearing, Fox would likely note that she didn't notice a whine. But of course this would also be the first time she's been in contact with the weapon in this form at least so it shouldn't be surprising.

Headbanger - Landship Halls

Headbanger's displeasure is evident as Remiel approaches; her ears tilted further back as if fleeing from him. The fur on her tails began to stand on end as well, though Headbanger herself stood her ground for the moment. She hesitated to get the tablet out at all, but eventually pulled it out so that she could at least tell the Sankta to leave if she wanted to. <I ate on my way here, so I'm fine.> Her fingers stabbed into the keys to communicate her message. A message that wasn't entirely true; she had eaten, but the tasteless field rations were not exactly at the top of her list of favorite foods and would probably have already headed to the same place had there not been more ship to explore. <Do you actually need something or are you just here to block the hall?>

"Oh, I see." Fox nodded, mulling the words over in her head. Shield to sword, mechanically. And it was maybe old. Wait, he didn't know where it was from? The feline pulled out a length of string as she thought, twisting it around her fingers.

"Did you find it somewhere?"

Velimir considers what he's going to say next for a few moments, before shaking his head. "No, it's my dad's. After he died this was all I grabbed before heading out to Ursus. Guess you could call it something of a hand me down."

"I had to leave my family as well." Fox stated sympathetically. Not dead though, but being forced to leave by circumstance was something she understood.

"If it broke badly, you could not fix it or replace it." That was why he maintained it, the feline supposed. "I use this." She held up the string in her hands.
