A drone displays a hologram. "Go Team Ruby!" They give a stylish cheer. "KICK HER ASS, Team Amethyst!" another exclaims.

The patiently waiting Time clicks into motion and begins running at Ruby Leader, though not able to do so very fast. The Lionman also stammers forward (H) swerving left.

Tim's cards float before her. Time Lord begins charging. A green burst of light holds a glow at the ground infront of her. The steel machine draws back for a massive slam. A yellow burst of light opens up a portal beneath him, and he falls... A blue burst of light is added to the hellvoid. Near the portal, sounds echo in reverse...

Cards are dealt, one diving straight into the hellvoid. "Your attention, please." The Judge settles into a more engaged tone. It suits them.
"Law 7 has now expired, and Light Melee Attacks are once again permitted! Law 9 is now in effect: Though Shalt Not Use Curses, and One Whom Uses Magic Attacks Shall Be Rewarded! There will now be as many as 3 laws at once. And future laws will now last 3 turns." The drone enters Hell and relays the message to the plummeting Amethyst Leader. "Please re-enter the arena promptly, or you will be disqualified."

Ruby Leader let's out a sigh of relief. +1000

The chains lower the arena a bit. Moments later, a chair goes whirling past the platform, into the dark depths below...

1) Landing a Hit (Revised)

When stamina is too low to dodge, an attack will make contact.

Roll 1 die for each level of attack.

It seems that would change how the update played out too much. And it would be questionable who would really benefit.

So it seems your spell took a little longer, but you didn't get bonked by Time.

Sorry about that. Having 'Time' and 'Time Lord' both as units' names mixed me up.

Ugg, but that ruins me since I didn't get the reward for performing a Heavy Attack. I was using that to get two cards in my hand, but I only have one as a result. So Time Lord has 2 cards and I have 1 instead of 2. I had a plan going, but I can't complete it now without a Star Card.

How would it change things? Time Lord still made his first step onto the hole that opened up. Given he's falling in, he can't take another. Then I would go and wait for Time to move in range to bonk them and get a star card. Even if I'd get hit too.

I'm going to enforce a new rule and guideline, asking players to avoid making units with names too similar to their own and others.
