Tells me edit was saved when I didn't edit at all
« on: January 09, 2021, 03:11:02 am »

Whenever I click on an image to look at it, sometimes the wiki tells me it saved an edit when I never ever edited the page. Is this normal?

Are you logged out? If so, it's probably this issue, and the discussion there also has a workaround (purging the page from the cache).

Not really sure how to fix this, unfortunately - possibly a Mediawiki bug.

There was a typo in the siegers' campfire code. When the fires went out, so did the game.

I just encountered the same problem by navigating to a page via a link from the forums.  I don’t have a wiki account so, of course, I wasn’t logged in.  Also, I’m positive this was the first time I’d loaded that specific page on this machine, so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t in my cache...

The cache I'm referring to is a wiki-side cache, not browser-side. Purging the problematic page would force it to re-render, and then all logged-out users would be shown the newly-rendered version.
